Universal Liners & Rubber Milking Products Now Available in North America |
December 19, 2005
(Kansas City, MO—) Milking industry equipment leader DeLaval Inc, introduces a complete offering of Liners and Rubber products under the brand name “Universal” to meet the needs of dairymen in North America.
The Universal Liners are based on fitting each dairy herd’s teat size. Proper fitting liners along with a correctly set milking system can improve milkout, help eliminate liner slips and increase milker performance with easier unit attachment. Using Teat Penetration Area (TPA) in development of the Universal liner series, dairymen now can evaluate their herd make up and choose a liner that can fit the majority of their cows.
Teat Penetration Area (TPA) is a dynamic measurement of liner length that takes into account how a liner collapses. Proper massage and full collapse of the liner beneath the teat equals good milking performance. The New Universal Liner Series is designed around the concept of teat size so that every teat gets what it deserves: Adequate Massage. Three different TPA ranges are available in the Universal Liner series; 24, 27 & 29 along other features that will give dairymen a selection of liners to fit the needs of each herd.
The Universal brand of liners is another example of how DeLaval is producing a high quality product engineered to match the changing dairy herd and industry. DeLaval, founded in 1883, is the world’s largest dairy equipment, hygiene, and farm supply company.
DeLaval is represented in more than 110 countries worldwide with more than 40 established market companies in countries with substantial milk production.
